A Better Camera

When I was on my way to Matnog, Sorsogon on board with the ferryboat, I saw a couple taking pictures of them. I went close to them to check what camera are they using and I found out that they are using a Sony digital camera.

I just missed to ask the model of the camera. I like the features of it.

The LCD screen at the back of the camera is actually a touch screen. As the user point it to an object, he can touch the object on the screen and then the camera will focus on that object. After that you can now zoom in or out without losing the object.

I thought the camera has a 12x optical zoom. And its slimmer.

Wanted To Buy DSLR Camera

I am blogging for a quite long time already. And I am already earning a bit better income. However, up until now I still don't have a better camera.

For this year, 2011, I really wanted to buy a DSLR camera whether it is from Canon, Sony, Samsung, or from anyone as long as it is DSLR.

By the way, photography is my long been ambitioned profession. It just happened that I don't have money to buy a DSLR camera and don't the chance to buy even a cheap point and shoot camera.

I have actually a camera from my cellphone but the problem is that it only has fewer pixel. When I try to embed the photo taken by my camera in blogpost, it just showed a little photo that the image could be hardly noticed.

You see, I have a travel blog. But in this travel blog, I failed even to post photos of the places that I went into. And that I consider it a failure.

A travel blog should have photos included especially if you are talking about Beach Resort, Hotel, Restaurant and even if you are writing about foods you eat in places.

That is the reason why I really wanted to buy a DSLR Camera. I just hope that I can increase my income this month so that I can save a little money and in the right time, I can withdraw it and buy for the DSLR camera.

Kodak EasyShare Z1012 10.1MP Digital Camera

Kodak is back on track.

This is a real bargain if it holds up for a few years.

The Kodak Easyshare Z1012-IS works very well and reliably in normal light. No auto focus is perfect and this camera is not an exception to that rule.

The HD Quick-time movie options work very well. You need 3rd party software to convert Apple Quick-time movies to Windows formats.

Extreme Zoom is clear (when it focuses right), but it is a tad less predictable than the regular lens settings.

Internal panorama stitching works surprisingly well.

Battery life is fair to good (50 to 100 shots per charge).

It is easy to figure out most settings and menus. And it is good that most controls are simple and intuitive as the awful part of this package is the documentation; it is almost nonexistent.

If you search the Kodak support site diligently; the in-depth instruction manual can be discovered, but it is not included with the camera, nor is it downloadable. Its format is FLASH not PDF; (it ought to be on the CD with the Easyshare software).

This is a small, light yet powerful and flexible camera, I highly recommend it.
